Bangkok Wanderers

Bangkok Wanderers have selected the Vintage Club to host our monthly medal event. These events are proving popular. In order to make sure the event runs smoothly, please familarise yourselves with the following information.

Map to the course

Book in at the Clubhouse restaurant at least 30 minutes before your tee time. Please pay your 200 Baht match fee.

Check to see which tee you are starting on. Be at the tee 10 minutes before your start time. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Tee 10, so allow time for this. There is a penalty for being late on the tee.

Men play off Gold tee. View the card.
Ladies have a special BWGC tee. View the ladies tee positions here. These are marked with a BWGC tee marker. Look for the marker. Do not assume you are playing off red.

Local rules specific to Vintage Club:

Hole 2. The water hazard is lateral (red stakes). Ignore the yellow stakes on the course.

Hole 13. The "cabbage", flower beds & trees on the right hand side of the hole to the WATER is deemed to be part of the lateral water hazard. BWGC local rule 6 applies:

Water hazards - those which are not marked with a red or yellow stake are to be played as Lateral Water Hazards and the margin of the hazard is deemed to be where the long rough starts. Areas of "cabbage" are in the hazard.

There are 11 events at Vintage in 2010. We will keep a record of your best score on each hole. This is called our Eclectic Competition. Check to see your scores.
