The Bangkok Wanderers Golf Club is a friendly society comprised of fairly eclectic, sometimes eccentric, individuals living in and around Bangkok. We come together twice a month or so for fun golf tournaments, and during each year wander to some of Thailand's finest golf courses. Membership is open and a Wanderers handicap is given after submitting cards at three events.

Club throwing and caddie abuse
Every now and then we are forced to remind members that throwing clubs and shouting at caddies is not tolerated by BWGC. Not only does it upset the caddie and other players,
it also brings the BWGC into disrepute with the course, which affects everybody. Heed the wise words of Dennis Hutchinson: "With grace oozing from every pore, lower the club
gently to the floor." Otherwise, we will take action against offenders.
2012 Matchplay Competition
The draw for the 2012 Matchplay was held at Vintage on Feb 4th. Please check the draw and see who your partner is. An email will be sent to you with your partner's email address.

Mackenzie Cup 2012
The Mackenzie Cup is looming on March 31-April 1. This is a fun pairs event over two days: Scramble and Better Ball. This year we are changing the venue to
our sponsor's course, Royal Hills - venue for our annual Club Championship. Put the dates in your diary and start looking for a partner!

2011 Club Championship
Congratulations to David Pike, the 2011 Club Champion with a net 141 over the two days. Congrats also to Tor Edwards (Scratch Champion and Flight A Club Champion), Angus Turkington (Flight B Champion),
Paul Thomson (Flight C Champion) and Pete Reilly (Seniors Champion).
